Laki Craters (169.000 ISK)
Tour Overview
Discover one of Iceland’s most dramatic and historically significant landscapes on a private Laki Craters highland adventure.
Located in the remote Icelandic Highlands, the Laki volcanic fissure was formed during one of the largest eruptions in recorded history in 1783, creating a chain of craters stretching across vast lava fields.
The journey into this area is an adventure in itself. Traveling through rugged highland roads, river crossings, and untouched wilderness, your experienced driver and guide will navigate the terrain in a specially prepared vehicle designed for Iceland’s interior.
Because this is a private tour, the itinerary is flexible. Along the way, you can stop at scenic viewpoints, hidden waterfalls, moss-covered lava fields, and lesser-known locations rarely visited by larger tour groups.
Once in the Laki area, you will explore the volcanic landscape, hike to panoramic viewpoints, and experience the scale and raw power of Iceland’s geological forces.
